What we treat

We treat individuals and athletes of all ages and skill levels. We can help if you:

  • Have acute or chronic pain
  • Are in need of pre or post-operative care
  • Are struggling with headaches, balance or vertigo

Examples of pain areas we treat: shoulder, hip, knee, elbow, neck, and back pain.

Sessions

Sessions are each 45 minutes long, one-on-one with your physical therapist, and include individually tailored quality therapy plans that address your specific needs.

Laura Peterson Anspach, PT, DPT

Laura Peterson Anspach, Full Circle’s founder, has been a physical therapist for over 12 years and has been serving the Charlotte area for the past 9 years. She has spent her entire career in outpatient orthopedics. Through this time, Laura has developed a passion for not only being attentive to her clients’ conditions but caring for for them as a person.

Laura received her doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Indianapolis in 2009. She has advanced training in sports and orthopedic physical therapy. She is certified in Functional Dry Needling and Instrument Techniques, Kinesio Taping, as well as Sports Specific Rehabilitation. Her passion lies in combining hands on techniques with movement re-education in order to optimize strengthening & function.

In her free time, she has an appreciation for being outdoors in any capacity and exploring new places. She especially enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff, two dogs Ellie and Boomer, family, and friends.

Physical Therapist

Shelby Diachenko Jouppi PT, DPT, EP-C

Shelby Diachenko Jouppi grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Campbell University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Appalachian State University. In addition, she is certified as an Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. Shelby completed research in graduate school on the impact of high-intensity strength training in patients with chronic traumatic brain injuries. 

Shelby has a passion for working in orthopedics with patients of all levels of physical ability from professional athletes to geriatrics and pediatrics. Through a comprehensive approach, she focuses treatment on functional and foundational movement patterns with an emphasis on manual therapy techniques including spinal and peripheral mobilizations/manipulations and soft tissue mobilizations to ensure her patients reach their full potential. 

In addition to her love of physical therapy, Shelby enjoys an active lifestyle including playing tennis, pickleball, golf, and F45.

Physical Therapist

Rachel Stevens PT, DPT

Rachel received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston after studying biology and chemistry at Coastal Carolina University. She was drawn to the physical therapy profession because it combines her passion for exercise and making connections with people.

Rachel has treated primarily in orthopedics working with all ages and a variety of diagnoses ranging from pre/post-operative care to chronic pain. As a high school and collegiate athlete, she understands the toll injuries take on an individual both physically and mentally. Her passion is helping people move and participate in their hobbies pain free by treating them as a whole. Rachel combines hands-on manual therapy with neuromuscular re-education and strength training to optimize overall function.

When Rachel isn’t treating patients, she enjoys running outside, strength training, hiking with her dogs, and trying local restaurants with friends and family.

Front Office Coordinator

Becca Lucio

Becca is working towards her degree in Medical Office Administration at Central Piedmont Community College.  Becca has a passion for helping others which inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare.

Apart from being born and raised in Charlotte, NC she has also lived in Charleston, SC. Becca is fluent in Spanish and is currently learning American Sign Language. Prior to working at Full Circle, she was a swim instructor for children where she learned the importance of communication, patience and organization.

In her spare time, Becca enjoys spending time with family, going to concerts and baking.
